The production supervisor is responsible for providing production support to ensure smooth operational efficiency for the production of Atto Tetteh, ensure accurate record keeping within the production work stream and ensure Atto Tetteh standards are maintained at all times. He/she should be able to get orders of customers made on time, excel at organizational tasks, project management, know how to take initiative, help foresee any problems with production and act as a liaison between the Creative Director and the tailors. The production supervisor must also understand garment production and speak the language of fashion manufacturing fluently.

Your responsibilities

  • Ensure all orders are manufactured according to the measurements taken and selected designs
  • Ensure work schedules are prepared promptly and efficiently to meet delivery targets
  • Plan and oversee production for all team members
  • Ensure finishing of all items are completed on time and to the expected standards
  • Ensure there is always adequate material for production purposes
  • Ensure inventory materials are of suitable quality to meet Atto Tetteh standards
  • Maintain a well organised storage and production area
  • Maintain highest quality standards for all production processes and items at all times
  • Ensure rework items are minimised and completed in a timely fashion
  • Review and implement quality standards periodically to ensure they constantly exceed industry standards
  • Provide reports of production schedules and output
  • Organise training sessions periodically for production employees
  • Ensure all production records are kept up to date
  • Must procure supplies and materials to ensure adequate inventory levels

Education and Experience

  • HND/Certificate in Fashion Design or related courses
  • Experience in managing Production team
  • Project Management experience is an added advantage
  • Clothes Finishing Experience
  • Exposure to the Ghanaian Fashion Industry environment
